The ACLU makes them do it, I suppose. What's wrong with saying Happy Holidays? It pertains to everyone.

Everybody used to say Merry Christmas. I don't see what is so bad with that either? Isn't that what it is? A merry Christmas?

Why take Christ out of Christmas? He is the reason we have Christmas.I thought that Wal mart was like one of the only stores saying Merry Christmas...UGH!!!!!It makes me mad.God is probably looking down here and frowning on all of them.GRRR!!!!!!I mean come one,if you are Jewish or something than just ignore the merry Christmas, dont make us say "happy holidays"...I wont..I REFUSE!!!!

My pastor said that 82%of the population in America are ether Christians or Catholic and are fine with saying Merry Christmas. I think everybody should go into Wal-Mart and say Merry Christmas to all of the workers.

It's actually 92% of Americans who celebrate Christmas, Christian or not. Even the 8 percent don't mind too much, it's just someone who wanted to be upset about something, I guess.

Since its a christian holiday I will sometimes say Merry Christmas. Or should we say Happy Birthday Jesus?
I will say Happy Holidays when I mean "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year", but I will not say Happy Holidays to appease the people who get offended with "Merry Christmas".
I don't understand why people make a big deal about it--why should you be upset about someone wishing you a good holiday season?

What's wrong with saying Happy Holidays, though? Christmas isn't the only holiday, there is also New Years, not to mention the other religious holidays during that same time.
