Ok. Sorry, I guess I don't know everything like you two do. But really, what the -censored-, can you just say that in fact the school text books are right, and you are wrong? Your bible cannot give you the answers on this one. George W Bush is a methodist. Go figure..but I according to you he is an honest Christian man. www.adherents.com/adh_presidents.htmlSorry I'm such a dumbas$.

No, I was being serious in most of the things I said. Maybe you two should re-read your posts and figure out why I said it.

-sigh- Okay. You two were again ganging up on me. And acting like you know everything. So then Aly said the textbooks were wrong, and I highly doubted that. So I said you two should probably admit that you're wrong, because chances are, the people who wrote the textbooks are smarter than you. You both also said that all of the presidents were Christians, or something, and I showed you the link..proving you wrong. But now I'll get another post saying how I'm wrong. Clear enough?

W/e I believe most school text books are wrong. Okay. There. I don't know what the Catholic textbooks are like so I don't know. But I do know when I was in public school the textbooks were so off. They made evolosion sound like fact.

Yes^.And I didnt say all presidents were christians,I said I thought the earlier presidents were. And again if we have the same beliefs as each other and you have different beliefs of course you will think we are teaming up.We agree with one another. And I dont think I know everything,in the beginning I even said I dont know that much about politics.they bore me...hehe.And I am not acting like I know everything,I dont know what I posted to make you think that but I am pretty sure I didnt say like"I am right an you are wrong and I know more than everyone"!

Well..it sure sounded like you knew everything. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like you're just so one sided about everything. It's God or nothing. I guess I'm just different than you, I think of things in other ways...and how other people would feel in situations.
School textbooks aren't wrong, nor are they one-sided. They don't have religion or beliefs in them. Is that wrong? No. Not everything has to do with religion. On the other hand, Christian textbooks are deffinately biased.
This really isn't even about our beliefs, it was about the presidents, I believe..so I don't know how it makes a big deal now that we don't believe in the same thing.

HAHA...sry that made me laugh.Where you said"School textbooks aren't wrong, nor are they one-sided. They don't have religion or beliefs in them. Is that wrong? No. Not everything has to do with religion. On the other hand, Christian textbooks are deffinately biased." Ok school textbooks dont have religion or beliefs in them. That right there means they are biased. They should show every point of view.I have never seen a Christian textbook so I dont know if they are biased. But I am sure that Christians use them so they dont need to show the worlds point of view. And Like I said in a earlier post we cant see the emotions through a computer.I might sound like I am being one-sided ot w/e but I am just stating what I believe

I understand that's what you believe, but really, do you ever listen to what you are saying? Okay, school textbooks talk about the planets, how they were formed, what happens on them. The Bible says that Earth just popped out of nowhere. I find that very hard to believe. Textbooks cannot show religious points of view because: 1. The First Amendment 2. Separation of Church and State 3. It's a belief. Not proven. They aren't biased because they can't be, they wouldn't be published or bought by schools if they were.

Ok but evolution they can prove?I think NOT! And earth didnt just pop out of nowhere,God created it. And this country was founded on God,So how can they take him away from our education? That is 1 reason why I dont go to a public school. Oh and there is proof about stuff that the Bible says.Ask Aly though,I cant think of anything right now

There are also things that are false about the Bible, too, so not every single part of it is true.
If the US was founded on God, then why did they create a freedom of religion? Last time I checked, that also allowed people who didn't believe in God to come here and live without religious persecution. Separation of Church and State was also made by our founding fathers, which means that beliefs should not be brought in to classrooms unless you're in a private school. So God isn't everything about this country.

The Pilgrims came to America to escape persecution for thei beliefs. So did the Puritans. They werent gonna make a law that would do just the same thing that England(I think that is where they came from..haha)was doing to them. And I would like to know what part of the bible is NOT true.I believe all of it is true,I know you dont though and I wont try to make you believe it is.I know I cant do that. But I am curious to know what you think isnt true

The same pilgrims that came to the US to look for religious freedoms also chose to separate beliefs from business and other parts of life, which is why there is separation of church and state, which our country, founded on God, follows. I found this interesting. Even people who dedicate their lives to religion have said that not everything in the Bible is accurate. www.snant.com/fp/archives/another-kick-in-the-pants-for-sola-scriptura
